Later, my school sent administrative assistants to help me get a [smart] cell phone (costs 25元 per month, or $3.91! There are additional costs though - texts, minutes calling, etc.)

Got a bank account too - you can skip the lines if you only speak English
(they'll bring you to their exclusive teller)

Riding the bus - 2元 per ride ($0.31) - got to know the bus stops (all in Chinese - forces me to learn, I suppose)

Meeting With Relatives (Evening)

Passed by my school - still under construction, but is supposed to be done soon; school starts in September!
